to piss off the maker of this thread, because he was trying to compare a action rpg to a classic rpg
Reputation: 47Comparing these games is like comparing Counter Strike to Age of Empires...
Vindictus is like Guild Wars, aka instanced, can be fun at beggining but it gets old really fast, it's the same thing over and over. C9 is a billion times better than it (too bad it won't come anytime soon).
And Lotro is a mmorpg, very nice one...one of these games that you either hate or love.
If you want a mmorpg, Lotro is the choice, if you want an action mmo then Vindictus, but like any new game it's OVERHYPED and will disappoint many people :S
didn't know it is so fast paced.Originally Posted by Felore;2354868 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting**************23548 68******end_of_the_skype_highlighting
Btw i say vindictus, because i love som sweeeet next gen graphics.
How the **** can you compare Vindictus to LOTRO?
Seriously, how the hell?
The games are too different..
I'm going to play Vindictus until I hit the 3 token per dungeon mark then hop on LOTRO.
What type of game comparison is this?
Reputation: 10LOTRO isnt free...is just a trial lifted....Every game with "turbine points" is a trial...
That's why vindictus is better if you dont want to pay.
vindictus just didnt find lotro amusing ...(i think its because of playing wow for many years...)

Reputation: 41sure..but the name of the topic is "vindicuts vs lotro" not which one you prefer..Except you could; as he is asking; say which one YOU PREFER to play over the other.
The poster just failed and hey..i dont prefer one of them. They are both good games but completley different like i said..vindictus is more casual than a standard rpg and lotro is a huge rpg with a world system. Vindictus is city -instanced based
