Comparing these games is like comparing Counter Strike to Age of Empires...
Vindictus is like Guild Wars, aka instanced, can be fun at beggining but it gets old really fast, it's the same thing over and over. C9 is a billion times better than it (too bad it won't come anytime soon).
And Lotro is a mmorpg, very nice one...one of these games that you either hate or love.
If you want a mmorpg, Lotro is the choice, if you want an action mmo then Vindictus, but like any new game it's OVERHYPED and will disappoint many people :S

LOTRO isnt free...is just a trial lifted....Every game with "turbine points" is a trial...

I really don't see why people can't answer his question.
I'd see myself liking LOTRO for a longer period of time over Vindictus, but enjoying Vindictus more during that short time. So I'd say Vindictus.

People who like action games will say vindictus. People who like MMOs will say LotRO.

The poster just failed and hey..i dont prefer one of them. They are both good games but completley different like i said..vindictus is more casual than a standard rpg and lotro is a huge rpg with a world system. Vindictus is city -instanced based
