Final Fantasy (Even the singleplayers) have always been somewhat challenging. Square made FFXI and XIV perfect for this..They don't just hand over quests like in ALL the other generic MMO's. You have to actually find the NPC that HAS a quest and actually READ what the NPC is saying.
If you don't read it you could miss some very important details. At least this was how it was in FFXI, which is what I like. I get bored of todays MMO's due to the fact that they are just so damn easy, which also makes them boring. I don't want to kill 500 rats just to level up and get 1-2 more skills. I also don't want each quest to be about this dark dragon that, for some reason, killing 500 rats will help the situation.
The best thing i liked about XI was that you actually felt like you were accomplishing something and you really felt involved in the world. I'm glad this is what everyone is complaining about because it means it carried over from XI.
Sorry that it didn't have a tutorial that showed you every fun part of the game and how to do everything. When you enter the world of FF you need to figure everything out on your own, and they shouldn't change it at all.
I've already bought it and can't wait for the release.![]()
