Need some desktop help

Much less help than aid.

I have a new computer with a dual core, so I decided finally to go for an active desktop to keep my icons clutter free.

What I need is to find a FREE active desktop program that can provide me a way to organize and hide icons similar to the way the start bar works.

Just use DesktopX they got cool themes, and they usually hide all icons only way you can access is by going into your local disk and going to 'desktop'. As much as a hassle that is DesktopX themes are superb.
