Hey all
I have made a small game using the Stable Version of Eclipse..
it is available for free download on my forum found at www.hunterquest.co.uk.
The game itself consists of aound 50 maps and features custom sprites
custom weapons, spells, BGM, GUI, and many more features including a rank system based upon total kills and quests completed.
there are three classes to chose from and there is a very helpful admin in game.
The forum has an aspect of written role play wich compliments the game,
Development has been smooth with regular updates taking place weekly.

9 Gigs aye? well im in no hurry to overrun the world with my uploads so no need for that much..
my game client is only about 300mb after install (53 before)
so as you can prob understand i dont need that much.
but well done on saving your pennies and purchasing a top end pc.
you gonna check out the game then? in response to your astonishment yes every week i update.

Yes, people will say it's generic blah blah and the thread will go on and on eventually die.

Rinse and repeat each week or two.

GUI and GFX compressed to save dik space now just over 110mb before 158mb

Aha well thanks guys but rest assured i will not be going anywhere.
i intend to keep this thread open for as long as possible (provided it doesnt get filled with spam) and the game as of now is online from 12 till 12 mon till sat. it will stay like that indefinately and all are welcome to join in.

Guys i wouldn't touch this game to be honest, Just downloaded the client and got a virus detection from it.

Also how can people even connect to the game if you are only giving your network address?
"If anyone is having trouble loging in try changing the ip in settings on the main menu to

Also calling people idiots because they don't like playerworlds games only makes you look like an idiot yourself.
You come to this forum advertise your game in the wrong section and when you get bad feedback for it you pull a hissy fit and attack the forum users.
And all of these ridiculous conclusions you keep jumping to and going off on tangents of irrelevance when someone makes a comments, What the hell?.

You want people to play your game, then stop acting like a petulant child and act like an adult, People are gonna flame you if you keep acting this way.

Thanks thats a great outlook on the 2d rpg.
your right in the negative feedback statement, its silly to think everyone will try it and to be honest i was a bit overexcited myself i think.
thanks for your wise words Kashis your right about the fact that lots of people still play and enjoy 2d mmo's and the presentation could be Greatly improved, that said i think i just got into a heated discussion for the sake of it.
Creating a community on a game and forum obviously takes a lot of time and effort (something i have plenty of) and i belive that perseverance will eventually allow me to have the last laugh.
To Gextor, thanks for the freindly advice dude unfortunately i have a very small notebook which i write the game on and any program with a 3d graphics engine would probably overload my cpu. but when i get a powerful pc i will certainly look into using a 3d program, for now its 2d eclipse though.
To Kregore, firstly let me assure you that there is no such Virus as you stated i belive your detection software found a file it did not recognise and asked you what it is.. secondly the ip provided connects you directly to the game through a no ip site that allows other users to play in real time rather than a stand alone client, so yes,it is my network address.
Thirdly the stupid guy was called so not because he does not like such a game, fair play he is entitled to that, but not to naysay about a game which he has never even looked at, ( its like your mother asking do you like chips? you reply NO! she then says how do you know you've never tried them)
and lastly,im afraid you got one on me there as i was not sure where to post this but as its an online game multiplayer and rpg i placed it here, sorry...
