If you get one full day to game as you want then you would have no real problem playing Vindictus. You could probably waste all of your tokens in that one day, believe it or not. But, like I said: If you don't like the system, don't complain it about it and avoid it like hellfire.

So how will a fatigue system affect you, if you only 'really game' once a week?

Fatigue systems are stupid. They're ways for half-developed games to slow people down and prevent them from blowing through all the content.

But, to the extent that they're ways to get people to spend real $$$, they're brilliant.

Look at Dungeon Fighter Online. It doesn't take very long to hit the level cap. Suppose they did not add a fatigue system? Players could hit the max level with constant playing. You know how easy that would make the game? There are only oh so many characters you can make in DFO, and oh so many things to do in our current version. Hence why they increased the level cap about 3 times in our version (40 - 50 - 60) and twice in Korea (60 - 70.)

Dungeon Fighter's fatigue system is easy as **** to breeze through. Play long enough, and you won't even realize it was there in the first place. It doesn't mess with your gameplay; it's a means to prevent people from both overplaying and hitting the max. With people hitting the max level, they lose customers, and we all know that customers = money. No customers, no money. Simple.

Not to mention, both DFO and Vindictus have content to keep you occupied after you run out of tokens and such. DFO has both PvP, the Tower of Illusion (And soon to be Tower of Death), along with the Altar of Infinity (not yet released) which you can do as many times as you like if you have the money to pay for it. Vindictus has PvP, Fishing, and several other activities. You could play other games while waiting to get your tokens back in Vindictus, might I add?

Seriously. Stop complaining. It's easy to counter all these, "boo hoo limited gameplay ;-;" comments with simple statements like that.

There are also other ways to get tokens such as through PvP and Fishing. This effectively doubles the amount tokens you get a week. Not to mention there are also Cash shop tokens to completely avoid the "Fatigue" system altogether.

do people not check game threads prior to playing a game?
    o wait...nevermind, I don't either~

anyways, Vindictus storyline is situated in Erinn hundreds of years prior to Mabinogi: Fantasy Life. It follows the footsteps of the 5 heroes that fought fomors and dragons to bring the people to the paradise promised by their goddess morrighan. If the storyline says specifically 5 HEROES, there is no way in hell that you can alter a class build.

Each class out so far has their character specific weapons and skills that they can choose to take, but that's about it as far as variety in class builds. Don't expect the game to be like Diablo 2 or WoW or any of those games. Vindictus/Mabinogi: Heroes is a game in its own category...

That's how all games work genius. Also, it wouldn't make the game any easier. In fact, its probably harder to hit max level by playing 10 hours a day for a month than it is to play 1 hour a day for 10 months.

Stupid statements like that are why games go out of business. If I was a dev I'd rather people complain about a game than just quit without a word.

OB is most likely getting the 3rd character anyways. They all play diffrent enough to where it shouldnt matter that theres not alot to choose from.

Please learn logic, its something fundamental to surviving.
Wait, does that come from someone who hypes and fanboys his games to the maximum? That lacks any logic, FYI.

So your saying those of lower than average intelligence cant understand what your saying (IQ 100= average). Actualy average IQ is 109-90. So you mean those of average IQ cant understand. Seems like we got a delusional one here.

Sorry, but if you are a casual player, the fatigue system will not worry you. Those who state they are casual players and then begin to cry that they cannot catch up, are lying to themselves.

Please learn to break down what one says and understand their real intentions and meaning.

The casual system for this game is very sound and will not affect those who are truly casual players.

I say this again, please learn.

That seems very lame, especially with the "fatigue-like" system so you only have one other character to go to after you run out...but I'm still going to give this game a fair shot and see if I care about it or not since combat seems very fun.

Its an action game. IMO action games are best played in short burst than long term like a normal MMO.

It may be just me but action games can get boring fairly fast :/. I dont like fatique systems as much as the next guy but it wont be bugging me to much.

there are only 2 more characters to be developed and released in korean version. We already know their names and the basic style of their class.

    Kai - Archer

    Karok - 2-handed Fighter

there is a rumor going around that Kai is actually an Elf and Karok is a Giant...but that's not confirmed.

What he's saying is that these systems make the game worse. Hardcore players will put forward money into the economy instead of dungeon running when they're done, which then leads to the economy's prices increasing. When this happens, there will be two groups: poor people, or rich people/friends of rich people. It's a bad way to think out an economy.

Realize anything that you add or remove to a game with currency will inflate/deflate the economy so you must be careful as to what you add/remove or prices will increase, leading to the two groups.

If there wasn't a fatigue system, the hardcore gamer would put all his time into dungeon running and only time in the economy every week or so, keeping the prices down so that everyone has a chance and there is no rich or poor problems.

Yeah, his design is quite appealing imo.

About the system, couldn't care less
If I eventually get the extra time to max it out, sweet, if not then I'm not really missing anything, am I?

Is it possible to solo the game? Relying on party members bore me.

Yes, but you will have trouble with some of the bosses without knowing their patterns but after memorizing patterns it aint too hard. Though making parties in this game is easy and worth getting into cause they make the runs a million times easier.
