Why do people smoke?

Like cigs and shiz.
just wondering,.


and i doubt its to look cool because people smoke when nobody is around. So they wouldnt do it just to look cool.
does it feel good or somethin?

cigs - you can get buzzed, it releases dopamine, makes the illusion of relieved stress, makes social interaction easier/more bare-able.

shiz - depends what were smoking but you can look the shiz up and its effects. Usually a better stress relieve than cigs tho.
