I am conducting a survey for a school project about the way achievement hunters feel while collecting them (whether the experience is positive or negative). I play WoW and thus end up collecting achievements and I know that some of the other players find them completely useless and annoying while others wouldn't play the game at all without them.
The survey is for any MMORPGs that have some kind of a reward system (WoW - achievements, Warhammer - Tome of Knowledge, Lord of the Rings Online has “Deeds, Traits and Virtues”, Cities of Heroes – a list of badges).
