    Default Long-ish Hair

Sooo i usually have my hair pretty short but i was thinking of making them longer...like not down to my shoulders but a bit below my ears

so i was wondering for people who do have long hair...like that
should i just let it grow or should i go to a barber in a month..and get a trim?

lol jw. cuz im not really sure what to even say to the barber.

Some people can pull off the look, and some cant. Just get it cut if it goes passed the length you want it at. I keep mine passed my shoulders put not down the middle of my back.

    Hair like this lol?

All you need to do really is grow out your hair and grow it out to a desired length then ask for a trim/layers then your hair will be shorter but it will look neater and eventually growout back to the original length. (2-3weeks). P.S I think a salon would understand you better than a barber.

For Justin Bieber hair ...when you get out of the shower just do a hair flip to right or left rofl.

ACTUALLY you should get your hair trimmed, and thinned if need be, before you start the growing process. You need to remove any split ends, dead hair, etc. After that it's just a matter of taking good care of your hair and waiting for it to grow to the desired length.

A picture of yrself would do well, as well as what kind of hair you have.

    Curly? Shaggy? Straight?

My hair just turns into this giant shagball, whereas my brother gets it long and lustruous.

Long hair requires way more attention!

But eh if you have the hair for it and won't do lame metro shit then I say go for it!

Just go to a barber and tell them to give you a trim to even it out.

    She knows how to party.

    @OP:

It's really simple. Go to your barber (no need to go to a freaking salon, yet) and ask him to thin out your hair (if you have thick hair). Tell him that you want to let your hair grow and that he shouldn't take anything off.
Anyway, he'll clean it up, thin out your hair and you're ready for the worst part of your life.

Now, it is time to let your hair grow. It can take months, even years, before your hair is long enough. It's an aweful process, especially when your hair reaches your eyes.

Go to a salon when your hair is as long as you want it to be. Ask them to cut it in layers and thin out your hair again. TADAA! YOU ARE DONE!

Actually, I think you should re-read your own post again and enlighten me as to where you didn't say what you indeed did say.

I take offence to that. It may not seem like much to you, but you disrespect me by posting such nonsense. Don't start the same crap that you all did in the lounge a few months ago.

Rule No. 8 – Respect the staff
If you have an issue with the staff, do not hesitate to bring it up in the Suggestions & Feedback forum. However, if you are disrespectful to the staff and insult them, you will receive a warning or infraction the same way you would if you were to insult a normal member.

I never got the issue some people here take with the staff at times. I've frequented a lot of different forums, and been a regular here for a long time, and I can say with confidence that the staff here does a great job. Much props to them.

uhm... it takes 2-3months at most?? Hell! I even have to go every 2-3months for the reason my hair reaches my shouders by that time.

    *strolls by thread*

    *double take*

WHAT IN TARNATION IS GOIN' ON HERE?!?!

No need to talk about staff stuff. This thread is about hair. Back on track, or I bust out my trademark locky gif.

On topic: I prefer short hair myself. If I let it grow out it tries to go for an ugly bowl shape, plus the extra maintenance and dry time is a major downer. Short's where it's at.

Everyone's hair grows at different rates; for me, I'll get to a length where it just slows down a lot, compared to when it's shorter.
