I'll be banging out the last few levels soon enough..as well as finishing up a few of the more pesky title achievments..and of course stocking up on remnants, powders, and golds. From here on (because of current caps)..there isn't much more to do but prepare for the release. Love this game. :3

I wasn't aware we needed to be a certain level to be "ready" for OB.
Since all our items are being wiped anyway, it would probably be best to start a new character.

Shame. I thought Nexon was smarter than that. People abuse an exploit to get into the third boat to get materials and armor/weapons that nobody else can get, and all they do is shut down the 3rd dock, while ignoring the ill-gotten equipment.Charcters and items and all other data you get is permanent from pre-OB to OB to final.

Though it won't happen this is a fantasy game not based on our actual history, I've seen medieval looking games before with a gun class..... seems out of place but that's when comparing it to our own history.

I don't think the 3rd boat glitch warranted a wipe anyway. Only a hand full of players who were the highest levels at the time got to abuse the glitch...and all it was is the very first level of that boat..because the quests to unlock the next ones aren't active yet. The only advantage was they were able to obtain Fine Tannin, which an be used to craft an ugly leather helment of the final set avaliable to us in pre-OB (the helment is uncraftable without this tannin.)
So they get what...an extra 30 defense points? Out of like 1700 that hardly matters. >_>

I believe two pieces require it, but anyways it's still a problem they haven't fully fixed the issue and some idiots are still exploiting the bug.
I don't think a wipe was necessary but they should of rolled back anyone with items from those dungeons AND removed all those items from market place as well as fully fixing the loop hole.

Two quest and about 4 pieces of equipment that can only be made with materials from the 3rd boat + money people are making exploiting this bug, people are dumb enough to pay 500k+ for the missing pieces, also the other random materials they've gained to get a jump start on everyone else.
More so it's just the fact that bugs aren't meant to be exploited and that fact that even after Nexon tried to fix it and warned people they continue to do it another way.

To actually answer the question though: yes, I'm ready. I know how to fight the gnoll and kobold chiefs. I'll be playing as Evy though, or worst case, just try her out. Then I'll just whine about not having battle scythes available xD

Once people quickly pass those lvls and move on to 4th and 5th boats those items will be nothing.

except by then those boats should hopefully be out.
The problem is the third boat should not be enter-able in early access, yet people have found a way to do so.
Don't try and justify people abusing an exploit, kthx.

Agreed, exploits are exploits. If a developer/publisher acts laxed about something like this, imagine what message that sends to the members of the game.
So... this would mean its ok to attempt to exploit the "host" system of this game and create hacks that can allows other's advantages. Which has been already done by select few.
So... its all good. F*** what others think. The publishers/developers dont care.
This attitude has already ruined many games that could have been epic. Good job to all you who dont think its a big deal. You are whats wrong with some communities. Ignore the problems so you can keep what you earned... /spit
