Nope, same length everytime, actually faster than 10 seconds, it's every 3-4 seconds.
EDIT: Fixed it, took out the cd from the disk drive, shiny layer was flaking off so I guess my computer has been trying to read the disk over and over but failing, or my disk drive has died but the beeping stopped anyway.
