New Berserk Anime Announced maybe fake

A new anime adaptation of Kentaro Miura’s epic dark fantasy manga Berserk has been announced.

The announcement is by way of the obi of the latest volume of the manga, but is sparing with the details – “a new anime project has begun” is all.

Just whether this will be an OVA or a full TV series remains to be seen, as does whether this is in some way connected with the leaked Berserk anime images seen in 2009.

According to a tweet from Earl.Box earlier today, there will be a new anime-related project to Miura Kentaro’s long-running fantasy comic series, 「Berserk」 . The news originally came from a wraparound jacket found on the 35th volume of the manga. More details are expected to be announced soon in Young Animal magazine and its official website.

It wouldn't make much sense because the author is so slow with the manga.

The manga has been on going for over 20 years and still is not finished.
It's going at the pace of one chapter every few months.

So if they do make an anime it will either end at another cliff hanger or create it's own ending.

yeah sucks it takes so long for a chapter to come out
if its really true there is a new anime coming out i wonder whether it will be based on the manga, and if it is do they continue from episode 25 and just quit again once they caught up to the manga? or worse.. a truckload of fillers? :P
