So yeah, still worth it? How is the population?
So yeah, still worth it? How is the population?
Reputation: 15I would say so. Logged in yesterday to grind a few levels & finding a party was easy.
Community is still striving. Kaslow is still packed on both servers.
Reputation: 54Totally started redownloading this before I left this morning. I have so many damn games installed though, I need to start playing several so I can quit and uninstall them already. GF wasn't bad, though. I liked the crafting, but I only played the tutorial-island-ish place and then my computer screwed itself over.
i still play it. the community on alice is still alive and spammy but there's spam bots thankfully they still can't spam the shit out of us. the other server i dunno never joined it. try kitsu saga first then try grand fantasia bots pretty much ****ed up the market.
Bots and spammers is a sign for a healthy game.
hey if yall wanna play ive got a lvl 51 ranger and 38 pally i quit back in january but im always down to play this game again it was a great time, hit me up on xfire WNxSect
I have a 36 Priest but I'm thinking of restarting. Not sure right now. I might go ahead & re-roll into a Paladin. The crafting system was cool but immediately become a turn off for me after failing numerous attempts.
Who knows~
sure crafting was great up to lvl 20 but after then ur throwing away like 400k per craft when u fail which sucks xD
Well it used to be good. Alot of the high levels quit so its pretty dead at end game. I just recently quit due to boredom, can't do anything in the game without other competent players. Spent the majority of my time simply chating with friends instead of doing actual game play. Plus PvP is pretty much non existent at higher levels, no one joins arena anymore due to the 2 overpowered classes - ArchMage and SharpShooter. Play at your own risk, just don' expect much (or anything at all) past level 60.
Reputation: 54Sounds totally hardcoreeeee. <3 Can't wait to get home and BOT LOLOL jk. :| Botting is for squares.
Reputation: 26XD oh, Grand Fantasia, how i have such a strange relationship with this game if I can do a quick pro/con list
++ Decent character customization/class selection X3 a class that can dual-wield at 15, GUNS, Necromancer class, Ridiculously good tank class, there's something for everyone <3
++ Auction House XP so no shop-hopping, thank god, and the market, from the last time i checked isn't too bad in terms of inflation X3 just don't expect fancy-schmancy stuff for cheap
+++ Almost NO grinding at the beginning, you can hit your second job fairly easy by just doing quests, maybe not in one day, but in a few X3
+++ Mounts XD yes, you can get a mount as early as Lv20, and OMG, do they help a lot XP not to mention there is plenty of variety XP wolves, chocobos, yaks, mechs...
- Unbalanced PVP, from what I hear XD i dont bother with it, but you guessed it, the ranged classes are king X3 mages/rangers rule the arena~
-- Lack of inventory space XD you'll spend an obnoxious amount your time managing your inventory space, not to mention expanding it will cost you to shell out quite a bit of gold XD and even then, you'll still have issues with space, even with a nice-sized bank
--- Griiiiiiind at higher levels (45+), where you are pretty much forced to kill the same mob type in the same area for days before you can move on to another area where you will rinse and repeat
---- Crafting failure rates XP yes, even when you shell out for cash items, its STILL pretty damn hard to get your fickle friggin' sprite to make anything good XD you want that fancy armor with all those nice buffs on it? prepare to fail on the 2nd step a few times before even attempting the 3rd step to make your item which has about a 5-10% chance of succeeding, and that will most likely drain you of all your gold XD not to mention, if you completely ignore crafting, you will find yourself stuck using sub-par equipment since the good stuff is untradeable, meaning you have to make it yourself XP
XP but yeah, I had fun with the game until I got to around lv55ish, where it then just became too much, BUT i still can't help but recommend anyone who hasn't tried it out to give it a shot XP
agreed after lvl 50 its grind grind grind which i used to not mind i love grinding but then partys were hard to get and my guild began to quick then i just didnt really have it in me to continue but it will take like 2-3 weeks to get to lvl 50 maybe even more depending on the type of gamer u r
