single-player the best one (imo) is Titan's Quest.

I believe there's an indy one that came out recently called Din's Quest (?) That looks diablo-esque.

eternal city - this game is like darkeden with guns added into it.
there are also melee weapons which divides to sword,spear,axe/hammer.
ranged weapons are pistol (worst) sniper (bad) machine gun (great) assault rifle (good) shotgun (fine) grenade launcher (perfect).

why do people make badass game like in the first screen shot of beladys screen shots and not make it MMO style? it makes no sense to me, make a badass looking good game, OH and lets make it single player and beat our wifes. makes No sense at all.

Hellgate: London is already out, it's not awful and is definitely worth playing imo. Though it's only single player.

dark eden does have guns in it, if you play the slayer class "gunner" and yes that game is awesome..yes there are still p servers though i have not played it in a long time (that game is so good imo)

there was a singleplayer diablo style game with samurai in it called "throne of darkness" it also had a sequel apparently

just wait for mythos..there is nothing compared to this one. Its the best diablo clone with online function + it was made by the creator from diablo (flagship) the new mythos has many new things + you can change your camera. I will play when the beta is out so i have smth to do until diablo 3 is out

people tend to throw with the line "made by the people that made diablo" alot nowadays. It's not because 2 or 3 developers from the ex-Blizzard North department made a new studio, the games made by them aren't an instant succes (HGL much).
Besides, there is a ginormous diffirence between a graphical developer that just renders what the artist draw out, and the people behind the artstyle, concept, etc ...

The best diablo clone imo is Titan Quest. It basically has everything that diablo has, the item fever, the difficulties, the runable bosses, classes, ...

Don't forget Dungeon siege 2 either
