I didn't want to paste the notes here, but something interesting is in the notes. There will be NPCs in game that you can speak with to trade Diamonds to Gold. As well as exchange Gold for Diamonds. They won't be active in this patch, but are planned for their services to begin in path 3.0.5. If this holds true, I think Runes of Magic is going to make a huge turn around in the eyes of alot of players. There will be no more exorbitant overpriced diamonds in the AH, hopefully. If anything, players will be trying to undercut the NPCs.

Thoughts on the upcoming patch? I don't play this game much anymore, but if this holds true I may just pick it back up.

Um not really, no one is going to buy diamonds from the NPC, all this does is set a standard of which people selling diamonds, which they currently do already, will HAVE to use otherwise they won't sell any diamonds.

TL;DR you are still buying diamonds from players, but it will be cheaper.

Which is actually what I was implying. It's going to set a standard for prices instead of the flip flop, overblown prices people like to set. If anything, it will HELP the economy. The game didn't kill the economy. The players did. They priced everything so high that only the top of the top could afford it with any reasonable amount of effort.

if they do that gold > diamond convertion then finally RoM can get some new life into it's already competitive cash shop ***** gameplay

wow another guy who played till lvl 10 and then rage quit, and then judging about RoM

you can buy itemshop items from other players via the present function

so -> only few people will use this npc, because this present function is way better
