I can't say that I've played any 3-D games, but the idea doesn't sound that appealing. I s'pose it's possible that it could be the most epic thing ever, though.

Sounds pretty epic. If only I had an extra 10grand lying around for a 3D TV.

Well that's cool, but also pointless, since 99% of gamers don't have 3D capabilities.

My eyesight (or lack thereof) means I can't experience 3D, so naturally I think it's the most ******ed thing ever churned out by the film industry.

Clearly shoving HD down everyone's throats wasn't enough, now we need 3D.

    What next? Schindler's List 3D?

The effect can't be that good to warrant such a premium, can it?

I'M NOT BITTER I JUST DON'T LIKE BEING LEFT OUT.

no, but it was fun nonetheless. i see resident evil 5 as a beat-em-up rather than a horror game

Honestly, the new Resident Evil movie reminds me of a Dynasty Warriors game, just nonstop killing of peons then a boss.

The advantage of HD was clear, and I think everyone wants maximum quality. I dunno if you get that from 3-D, plus the first thing that always comes to mind is

To see blurry red and blue pictures.

i guess i never got the idea of it in my head, i watched 3D movies ever since the first week i moved to the US. and even back then the first glasses i used were those one size only gray polarized imax glasses. i dont think ive ever watched anything with the foldable blue/red ones. i just tore those out of magazines and watched irl with them

Doesn't sound all that fun or appealing to me. Don't know how that would make games "better!" in the slightest. Waste of money and time IMO.
I don't know what the hell you're thinking but those things you listed would be freaking appealing in 3D, imo

I have to agree that that sort of thing would be very intriguing. I can't wait until we develop holodecks.

Not really. If I wanted to feel a rush, I'd go ride a roller coaster, not watch a movie.

No amount of 3D makes up for the real thing. So either do the real thing or don't.

I don't care about the advent of 3D technology, I just hope they don't assume it's so awesome that everyone wants it.
