What does she like?

Video games. A hat. An axe. A puppy. Headphones. A movie. Multiple movies. A box set of her favorite TV show. Breakfast in bed. Dinner at a fancy restaurant. Jewelery. Clothes. A gift certificate to some girly store. A gun. A skanky Halloween costume. Liquor. A painting. A mix CD you made her. A dvd of pictures of you and her together. A piece of an asteroid or the moon or some shit. A kitten. A star (yeah, you can buy stars, but its pretty lame). A cactus. Some shoes. Fireworks.
**** I don't know.
17 is the legal age of consent in New York and most states in the US.
You know what to do.
Unless you're trying to surprise her, I'd suggest asking her. I'm sure she'd accept whatever you got her, but it's a bit of a pain in the *** to go out of your way for something she wouldn't want.
Better safe than sorry?
If you're getting one of those surprise gifts, can't go wrong with the simple stuff, jewelery and all that.
Due to the fact that most of my friends are female, I just throw money at them nowadays. I let them get what they want, unless I know a specific gift they'd like or whatever. Though I do feel that takes the spirit out, giving money as a gift.
I always feel that people should experience the pleasure of unwrapping presents wherever possible, so I feel bad when I don't get actual, tangible gifts for people.
I'm the easiest person in the world to buy for, conversely.

Instead take her shopping and buy her a meal.
(Do this either the day before or on her birthday, depending if she is free).
Boy you guys sure have creativity, I can see why onrpg is filled with ladies men =P.
Make her a gift, unless shes completely materialistic she'll enjoy that alot more than you giving her money or just giving her some clothes.
Or if you really wanna spend money but not seem like you don't care by just getting her clothes or makeup. Take her on a romantic date, IE: Nice restaurant, After meal movie to a chick flick, If not a movie then go out dancing, Then to somewhere with a breathtaking view. You can pick the order if you want it not necessary to do it the way I said it lol
If you honestly believe that women appreciate an intangible gift more than a tangible one, than you're not exactly Don Magic Juan either.
Not ALL women, but most, generally like things they can have. Not just a meal.
It doesn't make a woman materialistic. It's just a more lasting token.
Reputation: 101Thats why I added the unless shes materialistic part my good chum. If shes not materialistic shes not going to enjoy that at all, She'll appreciate you taking the time to think about her and how important she is to you if you take the time and make her something. Not spending 5 minutes in Nordstrom and dropping 200 bucks.
In my experience only immature women enjoy lavish gifts that have no meaning and seeing as hes asking for our opinion all I gave him is mine with my experiences. And I never said all women who enjoy tangible gifts are materialistic. If I thought that then I wouldnt of suggested making a gift for her, now would I? Once again you put words into other peoples mouths, no surprise.
materialism is only when someone believes they need physical objects in order to be happy. they crave every pretty/cool/whatever thing that comes out.
wanting something in order to enhance happiness isn't believing that they can only be happy once they have something.
Therefore, the gift. materialistic people are usually just the *cough*golddiggers. Making a sweeping generalization but it's pretty much true.
My suggestion? since your both still young and probably don't have tons of money to throw around, make her a CD, and take her to something FUN. We don't know you or her, so i can't give you any suggestions, but make sure above all other things that it's something she would love.
the rest is up to you- if you can't think of something your girlfriend likes, well, i don't know what to say.
Shes neutral to them, she likes necklaces and i've bought her a necklace before so she can pop the ring in their and still wear it around.
Aw, that's nice.
From my experience, and my brothers. Girls love amusement parks. I took my gf to the fair for her birthday present, won her tons of stuffed animals, gave her a gift, and took her out to dinner. For our anniversary, we went to Knotts scarry farm, twas cool. Guess where were going for Christmas? Disneyland. I don't know, but from both of our experience, all of our girlfriends wanted to go to Theme parks. Take her to Knotts this weekend? or Universal? Its a gift, that both of you can enjoy!

Xente: Wait, your cock has wings?
Xente: ****ing awesome.
a half .
Norrins right dude. 9/10 a girl wants something material. Just depends on the girl really. she may appreciate you making her something. She may not. She may think your a cheap bastard. It depends on your GF and its up to you what to get. Your the only one who knows her.
Im talking to a girl whos Ex bought her a 1500$ ring and its the most important thing in her life. Its not im gonna go spend 1500 dollars cuz they want expensive shit. Its you dropped 1500 dollars on a girl even though i could have done better things with that money but id rather spend it on her and get something nice. its the fact your WILLING to drop money on them that matters.
I could go get a pound of weed for that much, but the sacrifice of spending that much on her is what matters.
Reputation: 1151See, you've just gotta find one that'll split the pound with you and appreciate it more than the ring![]()
