Start a specific sport in the intention of playing at a high level for a fairly coordinated person ?
By this I mean, if one would fall in love with a specific sport in one of their SR highschool years, would it be worth pursuing in attempts of playing competitively ?
I know, I know it varies blah blah but it's nice to hear opinions on the idea because personally I don't know if I want to start playing baseball serious despite the late-liking in my life. (Serious, as in college and worry about the rest later).
I don't know what university baseball is like, don't know how the scholars go out for it..Don't really know much outside of the rules and how to play the sport. Played it in the past, but never like "OH MY GOD PRACTISE EVERY DAY" MORE OF A PICK UP AND PLAY WITH FRIENDS.
If one were in that kind of situation, would you encourage them to pursue the sport knowing they only have 1 year to really show what they have ?(Well, 2 if you say their 13th year too).
Hard choice to make right now.
I seem to get some positive responses around here(But truthful) when I ask about something. But I don't take anything as be all end all, just like to hear some other opinions. Of course my friends are going to say "YEAH MAN YOU CAN DO IT" and whatever, but that's not an honest opinion. Internets full of assholes, so..Yeah
