Most android buying people usually want to know about games, which I personally have no use for.

I use k-9 mail over the native client (+AGP), Aldiko for (free public domain) ebooks, ebuddy for multiprotocol IM (or trillian beta), ES file explore for organizing files, Shazam, Notification notes cause it's handy, ShareQR and Quickmark on the PC to copy/paste to PC, Barcode and Mobile Barcoder plugin for Firefox to get it done the other way around, I also use VLC remote (tricky to set up), I have Wavsecure, because I got a lifelong membership when it came out and AK notepad for additional note-taking and also gesture search, because it's convenient Zumo drive for cloud services (not a fan of the cloud though), but will soon switch to ubuntu one.

I'm thinking of buying the nokia n8. Is it a good phone? I want to hear some comments before I actually buy it.

I use mine on a daily basis and only have to charge it once a week or so
Without playing 3D games even longer.

Yeah the evo's life can suck i suggest picking up some HTC hero batteries as they are much cheaper than the evo ones and they fit inside the evo. They're extremely cheap compared to the evo batteries, being about 8-11 dollars in average even for two. Make sure you get the 1500MAH batteries though
