In fact, it's pretty insulting to do that. Maybe, I don't know, depression is a disease and people who have it don't want to be insulted? Just some food for thought. (:
Sometimes the truth hurts, doesn't make it any less true though?

Coming on an online forum and crying isn't going to solve his problems. If he has a genetic chemical imbalance in his brain or a common short term case of simple depression, then these pills will help. If he doesn't want to take the pills, he needs to find his own way to deal with his problems (we can't do it for him.) He asked "Why am I like this?", there is no way for ANY of us to know, could be genetics, could be a result of how he was brought up.

I never claimed to be an authority. I'm claiming to know depression first hand, quite well actually.

Why the **** am i like this? Hate having to rely on meds to make me ME.

and for whoever is going to say just change your thinking, ive tried for 5 years and it just doesnt happen.
Not exactly an uncommon response to being played?

Take your time getting over it, but just get over it eventually.

Maybe it's not your condition, but a human response?

I personally don't believe in taking meds for moods & suicidal thoughts. Everyone has them. You just gotta learn to deal with them. There are VERY, VERY few special cases where those meds are truly warranted. You'll be shocked at how many people have chemical imbalance in the brain. Some develop mental illness, some don't.

If your life suck like hell, you're NOT suppose to view the world as a place full of rainbow and gumdrops. Now if you're rolling in doughs, surrounded by dear friends, and have a loving spouse, and you are still gloomy as sin...

It happens to all of us (the girl thing), and i'm not gonna lie i cried too.. that was a year ago and i still think about it.

But i have met better girls the way i see it is
as more girls become available the value of each decreases.. well doesn't everything work that way?

Supportive friends & family on their own is no cure; neither is therapy, neither are meds, neither is "toughening up and not being a *****." My point was essentially that telling him he's a ***** is counter-productive and ignorant, and if he wants to talk about his problem he should go ahead without fearing of being called a *****.
It's nice and all, but this isn't really the place :/

Its only human to cry, cry your heart out. Then try to not think about her anymore, you'll slowly grow away.

Why do people think that we're in control of our minds ?

People seem to think that our "Mind" is outside of our pyhsical body.

Guess what, it's our brain. We don't change out brain, our brain changes us. If you understand how to fix a problem with something else in your life, you're still not FIXING THE PROBLEM IN YOUR BRAIN..You're distracting yourself from the problem.

Some people need pills to get by, it's life. That said, just relax, I don't know what to say. Try to avoid depressing situations if it's possible and when they might come around try to..Well not be off your pills when they arise. If you want to try to go back to doing things without medication..Well, you have to do things slowly. Get USED to the problems you have. See them as normal, and learn to adapt.

Your life is of little concern of mine. Just as my life is of little concern of yours.

The difference between us is I don't go post about how I do drugs and take a shit ton of meds.

    Hope you feel better.
