Reputation: 52A lot of this has been seen in the hidden Test forum or the Super Beta Tester forum. The latter being why they are able to push out heroes quicker and more consistently. With a team of hand-picked users, based on their skill, who have access to all new content and new hero concepts to tweak and critique for later addition.
Just nice they got it out in the open, now re-buff Ophelia since they nerfed her 3 patches in a row and left her alone. I still stomp face with her, but since they buffed Kongor she got weakened AGAIN. I am a sad Oph player. T_T
Reputation: 22I think that was his point. The official announcement of DoTA 2.0 has basically forced them into a position to address these issues. Because if they're not addressed, people might leave for the next game. That's the large reason why people left DoTA for HoN in the first place. It offered basically the same experience but looked better. With some things tied in, of course. Well, if the problems with HoN are not addressed before 2.0 it's like people will migrate to it for the same reason.
It's a smart move on their part, it just seems a little forced based on the timing. A lot of these problems are things that should have been addressed a while ago.
Reputation: 46Sounds like they are trying to make HoN more like LoL.
Too bad LoL already exists and has a much better fun factor than HoN for casuals.
60 minute game isn't casual.
30 minute game isn't casual either.
i mean for one round that long is very not casual.
maxmimum of 10 minutes is casual.
shouldn't be longer than 10 minutes.

Reputation: 20To be honest, having more then one way to build your character depending on the situation to me, is just basic gameplay mechanics.
I play more LoL then HoN (would buy an account, but I rather buy something else) and usually everybody just builds AD, AP, and tanking gear, depending on who they play and what is usually more effective.
