Not sure I see the difference. Masked vigilante? Check. Problems with accepting responsibility that comes w/ being the masked hero (in B

? Check. First villain was a former friend/mentor/somewhat important figure to the main character before he becomes the villain? Check. Gadgets, tinkertonks, and superhero ability integral in various plot points? Check. Montage of character making his suit and training? Check. It goes on and on; BB and DK both follow the tropes of the superhero movie genre very closely.
If there's another way of looking at deciding whether it's a superhero movie or not, I'm all ears. But to me it follows more superhero movie tropes than it doesn't.
