They should've called it The Dark Knight Returns.

What's he rising from? He got his redemption at the end of The Dark Knight. The Dark Knight, in a conceivable trilogy, would've been the best possible third movie. They blew their wad too early.

If they did Bane in the second, they could've had him breaking Batman's back, ending it on a bad note, a la The Empire Strikes Back, and then having the events of The Dark Knight as the third/final movie. Having The Riddler after The Joker is just pointless. It's like showing someone a Led Zeppelin album and then telling them to go listen to Wolfmother. No point.

Of course, my ideas regarding comic book movies are just better, though. So, I can't blame them for that.
