The first one was really alright IMO. It certainly wasn't anything special, but at least it was watchable and took a little bit of thought. This one was really just playing off the hype generated by the first one. It could have literally been made by a 10 year old.

The pool cleaning robot was the star of the ****ing show. That thing was cool, I didn't know they even had invented those.

Some movies thats acceptable. Like when I went to see Jackass, everyone was laughing and saying like "oh shit that was crazy!" but it was OK because everyone was thinking the same thing, ya know?

The one I went to, everyone was talking the entire movie. Things not even about the movie I was getting annoyed, but I hate when people talk during movies, so I figured it was just me. One of my buddies said "these people are rediculous" and the people in front of us agreed.

They were all talking, and I just made a general "shut up" comment, and everyone realized how rude they were being except one douche bag who challenged me to a fight, but when I said "come over here then", you could hear a pin drop in the theater for the rest of the movie

That was better than the movie hahaha.

So, you invited him to fight in the movie theatre...where everyone was trying to watch a movie, because he was being loud and distracting?

    Logic. It's what's for breakfast.

No, everyone was trying to have a social conversation, and 3-4 of us were trying to watch the movie. I asked everyone to please quiet down (ok, I said "shut the **** up") and HE challenged ME to the fight. I simply said "come over here and settle it then".

That was the end of it. Believe me, my 20 seconds of arguing with this douche saved the last 30 minutes of the movie from constant text messaging and talking.

Lmao, I actually know what you are talking about. I also hate douche's that purposely yell (supposedly in fear) when it's not a scary part, like when the beginning credits are rolling or a real boring part. >_<

this is why i love working at the movie theater.
unruly movie-goers get the receiving end of a boot to the face and kicked out of the theater with no refunds. (im being exaggerating but...w/e)

It's a series of elongated suspense.

The first one was lame until the end. But I did like the second. Once you get passed the family introduction parts. It had some really freaky moments. It was a great film for halloween. But I got the nightmare on elm street dvd collection so ill be enjoying that a bit more me thinks.

Honestly thats the beauty of the film. Most horror film fans and junkies want instant scares and jumps. I like the way paranormal activity films build the suspense.

As you get older, less scares you in terms of what can be put in a movie.

Horror becomes a really specific genre at that point.

Paranormal Activity didn't scare me, it made me jump a few times. Eraserhead is a scary movie.
