gamescampus new server upgraded Drift City opens tomorrow

well the new server opens in 20 hours (1:00pm PST) and it will have a new city,a few new cars(2 i think) and a revamp of the item/upgrade system i believe

even though they are allowing server transfer they are starting a brand new server 1 for only new players and people willing to reroll (and im going to do so even though ill still transfer my ijji character to the 2nd server) but the server transfers where delayed (possibly due to the recent hacker attacks that have been happening to IJJI, im not sure it could be unrelated)

but anyhow i just figured i would post for anyone that may be interested in drift city since it gives everyone a new chance to start fresh on a brand new server with a updated client

i have been playing drift city for awhile and it is my "go to game" and has been for sometime, so im excited i don't mind remaking since i already lost all my stuff that mattered in the transfer (my upgraded +12 parts that took a long time to make and all my money i had saved T_T )

sidenote:

you know i honestly think that gamescampus saying that couldn't transfer parts was a load of BS they probably didn't just so more people spend real money on the game in a rush to get back what they lost

but whatever, at least the new version is more up to date and will give everyone a fresh start on server 1 (if they chose to do so)

Yeah, I'm also waiting for the servers to open, I only played until lvl 25 in the ijji version, and I will reroll here as well (I wasn't that high lvl anyway) and I am looking forward to get hooked up with this game, I love cars and it feels cool playing a car game with rpg elements and that cartoonish style.

im not sure if the Philippines is blocked or not, but on the gamescampus forums i read they are not, but i don't know if the source is reliable, i guess you will have to wait and see

darn this is a long wait, i want to play now!!!!!!!!!! and im still waiting for my ijji main to transfer over even if im not going to play him, i hope this all gets sorted out soon

im just trying to figure what car i want to start with, because the glossy paint is permanent so it will be better than all the other v1's at the store and you don't have to pay mittos to repaint it glossy all the time

and im thinking of maybe getting a ruby for v8 this go around (its 1000 deliveries coupon i think) because its got nice accel and speed, i had a tiger for v7 last time and i had snake coupon but i didn't get it cause it was ugly imo, i had aria for v8 it was okay too

this damn patcher is downloading at 16 kbs.. and what is worst I canceled it when I was 75% done with patch hoping for faster speeds and convinced that it would continue at its place.. but it restarted.. then for some reason the launcher automatically deleted itself during patch lol.. this is annoying so now patching for 3rd time at 9 KB/s yay..

i got the launcher way before server went up and replaced the files so it would patch, mine went fast

however servers wont be up until 5 server (8:00est) so it will be 2 and a half hours from now

and i apparently i learned you cant pick your starter car in this version or something...i don't know if that's true not ill have to wait and see..kind of sucks if it is though

also you get 300 (3$?) campus cash or whatever its called if you log on between 5 server and midnight server for anyone

Dunno why my patcher was being ******ed but I just reinstalled and fixed it.. anyway.. you had a panda wtf.. lol? or is that a car.. lol..

1 hr 15 minutes from now till game opens I think.
