    Default Pokemon creator dies

Legend of the Galactic Heroes producer Masatoshi Tahara and translator Dan Kanemitsu report that Minky Momo creator and Pokémon writer Takeshi Shudo passed away. He was 61 years old. Shudo had been rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery after he collapsed at the Nara railway station's smoking area in Nara City on Thursday. The hospital's emergency care center determined that he had suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage in his head.

Wow, I really did not think this would have effected me but It's rather upsetting news to hear. Pokemon has definitely changed many people.

    My reaction

R.I.P. to a man who helped with one of the greatest anime ever made.

And no I don't mean Pokemon.
I am talking about the masterpiece which is Legend of the Galactic Heroes.

I am starting to feel older when I see people like this die.
I remember when he was in his late 30s.

    Once again R.I.P.

No he worked on the script for some of the later parts of the Galactic Heroes series.

So he had some role in crafting it.

Anyone who worked in shaping The Legend of the Galactic Heroes is awesome.

It's too bad that present day anime are not fit to lick the boots of the Galactic Heroes series.

Monster stacks up to it but that was from 2004 and was basically from the early 1990s manga.

I think they are better off taking old 1980s and 1990s manga and making them into anime for those who have not read the manga to experience good old classics.

If they follow the manga really close then it could produce a great show.

    So he's not the creator?
It's also a bit sad to see the writer for the only good anime ever is dead.
