Default Codemasters/LOTRO not providing Customer Support to F2P players!

Just found this answer in the FAQ on the Codies site:

VIP players get full, unlimited access. Premium players get Full access for 30 days following the purchase of Points whilst Free players can self-service online.
Is it me or is that pretty shitty? Are there any other companies (other than perhaps EA) doing this?

There are a lot of rumors about companies doing this "behind the scenes" but coming out and saying it like this seems ... dumb at the least... and downright greedy at the worst.

Back when I played Conquer Online in 2005ish they used to do that. Hell even if you were a former p2p customer they wouldn't service you unless you spent several hundred dollars in the cash shop. They openly admitted this on their customer service page.

Several P2P games I've played recently have quietly refused to help f2p players.

Honestly the F2P mmos completely suck. I'm moving over to the buy to play(which i found to make the best mmos for consoles and cpus) and p2p.

Either forums or some FAQ/searchable Q&A online. But alot of times there are bugs, hackers, glitches and other issues that require a GM and you will not receive assistance.
