    Default Future cure for aging

This might be cure for aging if they figure out.

    http://www.mahalo.com/child-frozen-in-time

Child Frozen in Time is a TLC special about the life of Brooke Greenberg, a 16-year-old girl who stopped growing and developing as an infant. The documentary features Greenberg, her family and a team of medical experts as they try to decipher what has caused her mysterious condition.

Brooke continues to wear diapers, and is pushed along in a stroller by her parents when out and about. She is not yet walking on her own, and still has not developed speaking skills. Her physical appearance has remained unchanged for at least the past decade. Although physicians are unsure about exactly how Brooke contracted this curious condition, the issue appears to be the result of a mutated gene that controls the aging and development process.

Although unquestionably different than others in her age group, Brooke does enjoy some of the same activities as other teens, such as shopping and listening to rock and roll tunes. 7

Child Frozen in Time aired on Sunday, August 9, 2009, and has aired again many times since.8

Pedos are going to go crazy when she turns 18.

It's only a matter of time before scientists break this gene down and figure out how to keep people looking eternally youthful until they die. Scary thought.

Of course it can, through the years the life expectancy of a human has increased, but i think it can only increase to a certain point.

Overpopulation is going to be a *****. Don't think we're ready for that, right now.

Talking as if aging is a disease.

That and what Raiyne said. If people never die then the world had better be ready to feed 10s of billions of people or more.

Not quite a disease, but I think, probably treatable in the future.

But yeah. We're definitely going to need to establish some serious birth control if it ever happens. People'll still die from the normal stuff, so you'll be able to have some replacement, but at nowhere near the rate that we're used to today.

But, I think by the time we cure aging, we'll have, at the very least, some sort of fusion reactors, so we'll be able to grow the food we need for quite a few more people on the planet. Hopefully.

    Ah, futurism.

Agreed. Let us first establish groundrules.

As the first order of business, I say we feast upon the flesh (no matter how I word this, it still sounds dirty) of Xeno.

    What say you?

Let's not forget we probably are going to suicide after our 300th year of being physically +-20-25 years old.

It's sad to think about it, but cancer is, in a way, a form of natural selection/population control. I personally think that stopping aging is the worst idea ever.
Think of China. Now imagine that without death.
We're all animals, and are only here to live and die.

    This is fucking great.

Your body starts to rot around 23. Everything after that is on a steady decline. If we could preserve the body in its prime then just think of the posibilities.

    This isn't immortality.
