Usually people won't outright not take you in a party if you happen to be partyless and they have a spot, atleast that was how it was like in the malaysian server before everyone quit. There were no elitists saying: my party has to be this configuration blah blah blah. I don't know what the community will be like in this server but you would hope that there would be some national unity.

Also, I did not mean to suggest that darkroars are impossible to lvl. Sorry, I gave that impression. I myself reached the lvl cap on my darkroar on the malaysian server.

    1. Darkroars can get some proficiency in the elemental skill tree so they can use elemental spells on undead.

    2. Muldia is not the only place to grind, infact the nation-restricted maps have higher lvl mobs with more exp. Actually, muldia is not considered a grind spot at all, too many interruptions lol.

    3. Darkroars have a spell that is similar to Lex Aeterna from RO. It just about doubles the damage of the next attack/spell (effectiveness depends on stats). This spell make darkroars really good partners to wizards. I had a static party with several wizard friends and we killed REALLY fast. You can get huge damage numbers with that debuff.

So the elemental strengths/weaknesses don't end at dark/holy? Are mobs weak to fire/ice/lightning as well? Or perhaps physical attacks/magic?
Yes, most mobs have elemental strengths and weaknesses.

There is a split into wizard(plays with the primary elements fire/ice/lightning, high magic DPS) and darkroars. Upon the 3rd job transfer there is a further division of wizards into conjurers(Warp portal creator/Summoner/non elemental DPS, (!!AoE damage+chance of sleep spell!!)) and warlocks(very high elemental damage and AoEs). Darkroars get divided into Jester(debuff focus) and Calamity(dark/poison elemental spells and melee).

Darkroars also get DoT poison spells in the non-debuff skill tree they specialize in. But, the DoTs did terrible damage. Maybe my build just did not take advantage of the DoTs. Unless they change the mechanics don't expect much from the DoTs.

Not quite sure. At least in the early levels it doesn't (I got to level 10 - 15 on the Japanese version by grinding alone). Pretty sure the game encourages guild-making more than anything, because as you increase your crafting you are going to require rare resources that can only be found in maps that are farther way from towns, so building an outpost is a must.
