Sometimes that's the greatest gift. One time I thought that no one cared, but when someone showed they did it made me teary.
Anyways, other than just talking and enjoying life makes me happy. Whenever I'm sad I let all the depression out as much as I can in a minute, and then I try to live happy. It's no use to be sad a lot, but of course that's no excuse to avoid problems that you need to face.
EDIT: crap I forgot about ice cream, sorbet, and frozen yogurt

When I've got no worries and I'm just chilling with mates on a great day.
Best day I've ever had was about a year ago. Woke up to an amazing summer day and decided to rally my firends together and head to a perfect beach quite a drive away. Spent the day at the beach and just enjoyed ourselves. Was about 6pm when we decided to leave. Even the drive back was amazing. Eveyone just laxed back while I had my sounds playing in the background. I just love the small things.

really it depends what you mean by "happy". I can be happy in the short term while still being depressed over long-term problems. I don't think I've ever been particularly happy in a long-term, meaningful way, at least not yet :/
