Most disappointing MMO?

Hmm... Disappointed eh?

First one that comes to mind is Ragnarok Online. The renewal patch for the US servers has really messed things up for a lot of people. I barely meet up with my old click and WoE is so unbalanced only the big guns duke it out. Not to mention the pile of errors the Gravity team have been tripping up on at such CONVENIENT times.

MicroVolts. I can sit here and name a whole host of games that could have been decent if they fixed some serious latency issues... Let's not get into the bugs.

Other mentions aside the obvious fails: Holic, Legent of Edda, ATC Raycrash, Priston Tale 2, Mabinogi(Localization)... Better yet Nexon in general, Florensia, FreeJack, DragonTale?(Not Dragonica. Released on GnG around the same time as Nostale.), BF:Heroes and Silkroad.

Holic was GREAT before its new version,The orginal one was GREAT.
Nexon in general does suck...
And of course BF Heroe's IS good but the cash shop destoryed it...[I swear Nexon musta called EA and told them their game plan]

Definitely Land of Chaos Online, was so much fun in the first CB, then second one rolled out and I was like damn they messed this game up. Then it was even worse by the time OB rolled out it just became a huge pile of shit.

Once the F2p came along i was happy..But now it seems all mmorpg's look and feel the same..There no drive behind these games to keep anyone interested for a long period of time..All games can be good given the right mixture..But i have not yet come across one to my likings..

I don't understand what you're trying to insult me for

the launch sucked. it took hours for people to get their key. I know, I was there

the beta was delayed. TWICE.

when the beta did come out, it was ridden with bugs. unless my computer being well above the required specs playing on the lowest settings and having like 3 fps is natural.

and even when it did finally come out it wasn't even good. XI was better and even it wasn't too great

also the developers themselves admit that the game is an embarrassment

I would have to say Pi Story & Dragongem. Both never got fully released and pretty much died.

That's the one.

I really wanted to play this game longer. The latency played a huge part in me stopping and it is a shame it didn't get a full release.

Better add one to stay on track. Infinity Online. This game had so much potential to be a first love above RO and SPACE COWBOY. It lacked quite a bit in content and suffered from an array of bugs.

I'm with you on that, Alot of these games that fail usually only fail due to neglegence from devs/gms or just get so infected with lag/hackers it's too late to save them. :/

Most of the time its the developers who are the problem. They make a game, get a contract signed for a host, and thats it. Said contract only states this. Why should the devs attempt to do more than what they were paid for?

Thats the problem with a lot of developers.

you had to get player made mods to make it a good game. I mean, why no flashlight on the guns? Its the future. Hell even in today's conflicts, you see people with flashlights on their guns.

Couldn't agree with you more, I loved it the first playthrough in Coop as a friend but the online multiplayer was so bad my eyes bled from just spectating others play.

I somewhat agree with you. Only somewhat because some devs actually do produce more for a game which inevitably tanks the whole operation.

But the majority, yes, are in this zone sadly.
