Forsaken World [My Opinion]

I see alot of people on here "Onrpg", always asking for a GREAT MMORPG. Well honestly I think you should go no further in looking because Forsaken World has everything you would ask for from; Instances, PvP, PvE, Graphics, Mounts, Quests, Daily Quests and Events, Community is GREAT!

Gameplay - 5/5 Stars.
Community Interactions - 4/5 Stars.
Sound/Music - 4/5 Stars.
Quest Story Line - 4/5 Stars.
Instances/Dungeons - 4/5 Stars.
Leveling/Exp - 5/5 Stars.

Overall - 4/5 Stars.

Review:

Graphics are amazing water, reflection, skies, moon/sun, trees, grass, very detailed armor and weapons. Very well put together UI interface. Skill effects look amazing as well!

Gameplay is amazing no dumb repeatable quests unless they are dailies or event quests. Unlock new instances every 5 levels keeps the game interesting. Very helpful quest log and map. 6 playable classes, very detailed talent tree. Exp doesn't take FOREVER like in Perfect World its not to fast and not to slow so you can hop right in to the fun gameplay. Very well put together Crafting, Cooking, Alchemy, Ect skills.

Community is going very well I might say! Everyone is kind and helpful. Alot of guilds are now forming which also makes another addition to the game even better PvP!

Music and Sound is very soothing no annoying sounds or music. Sounds crisp.

Quest/Storyline is well put together as well seeing as how there are Main quests, Sub quests, Daily quests, Event quests, Instances/Dungeon quests! Very fun and I so happened not to get bored.

Instances/Dungeons I love what they did for this section of the game. You can unlock new gear/exp/pet instances every 5 levels. Also if you dont enjoy spamming for a group Forsaken World also includes: Auto party for the instance you have selected! The system will go through and put together a random team of each class and teleport you to the instance when the party is ready!

Leveling/Exp is very well thought through! Not to hard and not to easy! Here is a estimate of my leveling experiences. I went from lvl 1 to 30 in approx maybe 14-15 hours gameplay! Quite enjoyable if you ask me!

And for all you little kids who like to troll on peoples threads just leave it out. This is MY personal review on the game NO ONE else's. Thanks.

Remember guys this is my opinion.

And also remember game is coming close to Closed Beta 2! I can't even wait nor imagine the content PWI will be bringing us!

I played the CH version and i have to say that FW have many good function like the automatic dungeon party function after you registered there it generates a Party for you with tank, healer etc.. after the group is full, all Members will be ported into the dungeon, that makes it realy easy to find a Group ! And now the ''But'' the Dungeons and Events are freaking boring the most Dungeons so far you can clear in around 10 -15 mins because you can bug up on walls or you can bug Monsters with jumping on specific things to reset the pulled group and walk straight to the bosses ! And i dont understand why he says Daily Quests and Quests are not boring, Daily Quests and Events give you the most EXP and later on around lv 35+ its near the only way to Get Exp on lv 37 you will get around Max 40% with Events and Dailys when you miss the Gods Trial Event you will get Max 12% EXP, all what i want say is you have to wait on one ****ing boring Event each day to make Exp ! For me FW goes the same way like PW and BoI at the start you have Billions of Quests and you dont know where to start and after a while you will end up only with Events and Dailys ! The normal Quests are only Kill monster XXX or bring me XXX after the Quest its done it leads you to the next enemys with same Quests (that is not boring ??) !
But the Game its still a good F2P Game with good Graphics, nice Functions and Events its realy worth to try !
That is my specific opinion about the Game and i play Mmorpgs now for around 10 Years iam not anymore in the mood to play grinders or wait the full day on a few Events !

Are you serious or just an unexperienced blind MMORPG player? I mean how could you give 5 stars to a game released in 2010 that even doesn't used HD textures and that has angular models and landscapes? If such a game could get 5/5 stars then games like FFXIV, wich is the worst MMORPG ever made, would get a 1000000/5 stars for all that concerns graphics.

LOL, ok after reading this i have the answer to my prevous question : you re just totaly unexperienced... Dudde, this gameplay is just a copy of what PWE always do in every games they release. There is nothing totally new. You could find the same in Red Cliff for exemple.

There is nothing special about musics or sound FX. They are neither bad or outstanding.

Do you mean the low cost in game cinematics? I was bored fast on the Chinese OB. Probably because you just feel like playing Perfect World 1.4 (Jade Dynaty is Perfect World 1.2 and Red Cliff is Perfect World 1.3).

Rates are about the same than on every other PWE game so nothing special here either.

So, to conclude, FW is just an update of the PWE game system. Graphics are average and the game has introduced a currency system that ll probably cause a lot of trouble for people willing to buy/sell stuff from other players. Test it by yourself to have your own opinion but don't expect too much about this game. You ll like it if you re a PW/JD/RC fan. But still, there is no huge improvment that would make you leave any prevous PWE game for this one.

@antarek: i agree with you in most of your comments BUT FW is NOT like
PW or JD. Yeah of course it has features from both and the interface is smiliar
but the gameplay feels definitley different (more wowish,romish and so on)

PW feels different and JD feels like PW but FW is definitley different.
Its PWs WoW clone (yeah i hate to say smth like this)

An opinion is not just about being biased, you still gotta be realistic. If FW is a 5/5 in terms of gfx, what are FFXIV or Blade&Soul then? A 7/5?
Rating something the best out of everything is never a good choice, it just shows OP either hasn't played alot of games or gets excited way too quick.

Opinions from fans are always unrealistic, when you like something too much you tend to "lie" about how good it is even if you don't realize, it's like "being in love", you become blind.

If anyone neutral gives a review about FW it wont be better than a 6/10, it's another PWI game, just the same old crap with a different colour.

Plus they don't care at all about their games or customers, they release plenty of games just to get as much money as possible before the hype dies, bad company...mediocre mmorpgs.

The same can be said about those who hate the game or the company with a passion, which seems to be your case.

I don't see why some people get angry or are just plain sarcastic over someone's review of the game. He might be biased but he's not stupid. He also didn't say that what he wrote is the absolute truth.

IMO it's a bit too early to judge the game yet since most of the content is not released yet.

What I don't like about FW is the awfully slow regen on mana / health. Also don't like that there is very little option when it comes to key binding. Its pertty bad when you are not allow to turn off the POINT to move. What really hurt my head is that you are limited to how much you can level up your profession. Simple things like picking up plants to making cheese used up points for goodness sake and of course it takes a long time for those point to regen. Visual aid included :

Ehhh I don't think it's a 5/5 but the game is really good. It has most of the things I want in an MMO (Even though I haven't played it yet) Only thing i'd complain about is the gameplay. I like more tactical combat, not just skill spamming (Hey, but I haven't played it yet)

there's a diffirence between a review that still takes objective factors in account such as performance, graphics (in comparison to that times standard), etc. What this is, is a mere full blown "god game" biased opinion. Lot's of games have auto-walk these days.. I think those games suck worse than most games that do not have auto walk
