Default Trying to "fix" and old computer.

All right, so I am trying to fix this rather dated machine for my great... uncle? I don't know how he's related to me, actually...but whatever...

The only "problem" is that it will not connect to the internet. Seeing as it was recently reformatted I thought that the drivers for the modem needed updated. Well, long story short, it's rather difficult (for me, anyway) to find 10 year old drivers. Assuming that's the problem.

So, instead of going of my rather elementary level of computer knowledge, I would like to ask you kind fellows what your take on the situation is?

    Thank you!

*I got the title wrong, for crying out loud.... dang I'm stupid. I meant *an old computer. *

Bluetooth on a 10year old computer?
You should try to use a wireless usb stick and install it on that comp. Use that to connect to the internet and then click that option 'Reinstall driver'. A other way would be to just search for the CD xD

Ask if they got the cd with drivers. If they haven't, screw it.

Drivers can and will be a nightmare.

I should update this but all my effort went into writing this lousy excuse.

I've checked multiple times; he doesn't....

Guess he'll just have to catch up with the decade and buy a new laptop, finally.

Thanks for the assistances, you two!
