Just bought Warhammer - dawn of war II Chaos rising.

Just bought it on steam, but it isn't a expansion right?xD
Steam suddenly shows Dawn of war II (to buy), and it's downloading Dawn of war II: Chaos rising.

it is an expansion.. you need Dawn of War 2.

To a small extent, I'm surprised steam let you do that. Unless it's stand-alone, I would have expected a warning on the steam page.

I'm pretty sure Relic makes all of its expansions stand-alone

DoW Winter Assault wasn't. But I'd guess they could have decided to make them stand-alone after that point.
