Free and Premium players will now be able to enter the regions of Moria, Lothlórien, Mirkwood, and Enedwaith for FREE! We have adjusted the access of Free and Premium players. You may now follow the Epic Storyline through Moria, Mirkwood and, Enedwaith. This includes free access to the following:

The Legendary item system
Attain level 65
Access Moria, Mirkwood, Lothlórien, and Enedwaith regions
Note: You will still need to purchase the appropriate quest packs or expansion packs to access other content (quests, deeds, instances, classes, etc) in these areas.


Even more Free Content!
The Lone-lands quest pack is now free to all players!

Kinda blows that this, like Mirkwood, doesn't bring any new lowbie content (or anything major anyways, it would've been mentioned otherwise).

Yeah, been catching up on the info.

Right now, I am in the Misty Mountains doing my Chapter quests and farming ore.

I have been informed that if you have low level characters, wait to play them. After the update on Monday, it will be easier to level.

Dont forget to sell you seeds now before the patch. After the patch, the value of them in the AH will drop quite a bit.

Woohoo for fast travel and rep mounts!!! I wonder if Mathom Society will get one.

Kyrow, rearrange the games in your list to where the initials read LARP (live action roleplay). I miss Amtgard... and for those who are wondering... yes, its the game they played in Role Models.

Monster play is getting a huge update with the Q1 update and that will bring Monster play to the free players. Alls I gotta say is stay tuned! Its getting better and better.

Yes it will be. There will be more F2P content coming in the beginning of the year. Don't really know when.

Actually, they are gonna be changing PvMP to where anyone can participate. I dont know when though.

If you want to check out anything that they are testing for future updates, I suggest downloading the Beta test client for Bullroarer. It where they test the future updates.

My friend had similar space issues. Heres what I did. I put the installed files onto a flash drive. If you must do it in parts. Transfer info from flash drive to your comp. Good luck!

I made an account, but.. it sais I have to add the game to my account, and for that I need an activation key..

Anyone got any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Did you make sure you downloaded the US version? When you sign up on lotro.com, there's a few flags in the top right, make sure the US flag is highlighted.
