There are duels and Monsterplay. Duels is your typical feature found in most MMORPGs. Monsterplay is where the PvP (PvMP) happens.

If I remember correctly, you can start monsterplay at lvl 45 with your Freep (toon) or you can join in with the monsters (Creep) on your character select screen.

Both have quests, deeds, and objectives you can do to gain things that improve you playability of your Freep or Creep.

Here's the thing. You can only play a creep on a single map (Ettenmoors I think). The reason being is that if the PvP was allowed in the open world of Middle Earth, it can break the storyline of the trilogy. ME and Junior refuses for the storyline to be broken. I agree with that.

I do wish that ICE will be able to find a developer for an actual Middle Earth MMORPG. Post trilogy... It would make for a better MMORPG.
