Default How long does a general anaesthetic affect you?

I had a general anaesthetic on Tuesday to have a wisdom tooth removed and I still feel awful.
I have no appetite,I feel sick and all I want to do is sleep.
Someone told me that the general can continue to affect you for a few days after your op-does anyone know?

Hmm...If you're feeling sick then perhaps you don't have that much of a tolerance for it?

No appetite is normal, considering you just had teeth removed :P

When mine were removed, it lasted for quite awhile. A couple hours at least.

I had to be put under for my bottom wisdom teeth (I was too much of a whiny ***** for my top ones that my normal dentist didn't want to bother with my bottom which were going to be an even bigger pain in the ***).

After I woke up, I sat up right away, which they tried to tell me not to, but I was already on my feet. On the way home I felt a little loopy, but overall pretty sober, and by the time we hit a pharmacist argumentative enough to the point of slamming my bloodied teeth on the counter about not getting my T3's because I forgot to get a prescription from my dentist. I probably wasn't as cognisant as I thought I was, since I understand the legality of not giving out medication without prescriptions.

This is not the work of GA because they don't last for days.

Considering removing a tooth, experiencing this is quite normal.

    Mmmmm, nitrous

You should be fine after a good nights sleep. It shouldn't even take that long.

Unless you fill up some balloons for the car ride home~!

I was gonna google it and pretend like I knew all along like I usually do, but then I got lazy.
