Yes, it is a technically legit reason, but black people are pulled over more often than white people for minor traffic offenses. White people are rarely pulled over for missing a single dumb turn signal.
And besides, who cares if he has cocaine on him? As long as he's using it and he's not harming anyone else as long as he isn't high as he's operating a car or dangerous machinery then there's nothing wrong with that.

Probably true. But in the US, the Supreme Court has said that as long as you're breaking some kind of law, it doesn't matter what the officer's real reason was. Tough luck for that guy, and people who drive red cars, or sports cars, or big vans that look like they could smuggle illegals, etc.
