Default I Bought A Box Of Magic The Gathering Cards Today...

Yes, my friends have been letting me use their decks a lot to play every so often, so I wanted to build a deck from scratch. So I went to this new card shop that opened near me and bought a box of WorldWake cards. The boxes include 36 booster packs. (Each pack is about 5 bucks there, so 5 * 36 = 180) The box cost about 115 and all. I pulled a Jace the Mind Sculptor and made about everyone kind of upset in the card shop. This card goes for about 90 bucks right now, pretty exciting.

You got Owen Hart and Mankind mixed up.

Owen Hart fell off the pulley and snapped his neck on the turnbuckle.

Mankind was accidentally pushed off the hell in the cell and went through the announcers table.

one of my friends made me play yu-gi-oh cards one time and I vaguely remembered that name (also I googled it)

edit: I just remembered something. as someone who wasted a metric ****ton of cash on D&D books (and then never even used them o_O) I can't really knock magic cards.

I remember I really wanted to get into card games when I was a kid; Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon and WWF were all the rage. I could never really afford them on my allowance, though. They were like $2.50 for an original booster pack, and buying new decks were way more I think.

Well... at least I had my digimon virtual pets.

I assume that these days they have rules about what sets/series of cards can be used in tournament play, though, right?
