Reputation: 15for good man opinion- start as staff(aoe) and can be in front
for bad man opinion-this game too much cash shop dependant(seriously)
well i suggest go musician main and get long ranged mercs it will surely pawn others
Can't even login.
When I try to it shows me the Terms, 27 pages, and when I accept it brings me back to login page :/.
Reputation: 10not rlly i know alot of people who never payed anything and have some of the best cs items going. (mounts etc.) if you play the game smart then CS dependancy isnt too great problem but you will get punished if your reckless with your money. Anyways most op class after the next patch end game will be sword main in pvp and pve due to heavy buffing of the A class champion mercenary and the pirate mercenary. Early game there isn't much between the classes. I can tell you its best to stay away from spear or axe mains.
At level 100+ CS is pretty much needed. No, I'm not talking about the luxuries of mounts, equipment, etc. I'm talking about scrolls, which are required to keep leveling at a decent pace.
If you want to spend half of your time grinding for money just to get those overpriced scrolls, then sure, you can play without paying a dime.
Those who use CS have a huge advantage against those who don't, especially in PvP.
Not to mention future mercenaries will be Cash Shop only as well. Their level requirements isn't that high either, meaning that low level players that uses CS can win fairly easily in PvP as well.
Reputation: 10the game isnt half bad....just play the game for fun....i got burnt out around level 50ish
I got burned out around level 80, but it was some of the best F2P MMO gaming fun I've hadI had a Cannon Main and enjoyed it.
I think every main class has good builds you can work with, since a lot of it is the mercs anyway,
Yeah I played a ton of this which says a lot because I get bored of F2P mmos REAL quick, but still I have to agree, the game is very cash shop dependant late game, I got burnt out around level 60, leveling is fast up until like 50 then the curve kicks in.
Anyone who buys even like one item in the cash shop has an advantage over anyone who never buys from the cash shop in atlantica. Its very much buy2win focused on the cash shop considering you can buy items to increase your stats in the cash shop.
Made it to 92 on a staff and just gave up. You need cash shop to do well past then, or else it's like pulling teeth to get a few % of a level.
Reputation: 15I wanted to play this game, but it would crash on login. The Atlantica support people told me to open ports, so I did, but same deal. Even a re-download caused the same problem.
Support wanted me to put my router in DMZ mode, so I just told em no thanks and uninstalled. I got like 50 games on my computer and all of them work. Not going to go DMZ for Atlantica Online, but I have heard it's pretty neat.
i have the same problem before when i was starting atlantica online and the support told me to open up the router and so I did and then it runs and up to now i still play it, i love playing with my friends in game they became sort of a family to me now. Every games have ups and downs and Atlantica is not excepted on that but then by fixing and adding more features to it and having good friends and family in games makes it worth my time.
