That game really looked badass and i was really looking forward to playing, but as of late it just seems to have fallen off the face of the earth.

I think they are still making it. Just one of those ambitios projects that is taking more effort than originally anticipated. I remember getting this email from Funcom thinking it was for Secret World but it turned out to be an invite to Bloodline Champions. Was a sad day.
