i wonder what all anime manga and games will be effected and how much so (nana to karou is probably screwed i love that manga but its definitely not "socially normal" (BDSM) (the best i can hope for is its just called 18+ and nothing changes, but with anime you cant do that)

i hope the mangkas and the anime creators do everything in their power so that the series don't get canceled even if its means moving out of tokyo (or having to change their series to make it more suitable for t.v (though i cant possibly understand what was so terrible about almost any anime this season)

i knew japan was trying to pass a bill that was anti-lolicon for awhile now (non existent youths i think it was) and i get that ( for hentai not anime i have no problem with loli chars in anime i love them, but for me personally it ends with that not a fan of H loli) and i get cutting things out like **** but it sounds like they took that bill added a bunch of other things and renamed it and screwed everyone over instead of a few

japan tries so hard to be "socially normal" that their anime mangas and games where some of the few outlets they had to escape all that normality and real life pressure from school and work to just be themselves or whatever they wanted to be this bill is going to ruin that and probably do more harm than good

and it was the only place in the world like it, some of the things i don't like but i don't mind it being out there, everyone has their own fetishes and fantasies they don't need a bill to tell them how to decide what they can and cant like

but i want to try to remain calm sit back and wait to see what and how this will effect things in the future, but it sounds very vague and that scares me the most because you never know what will pass and what wont with these unclear rules

There is nothing wrong with Panty and Stocking.
That is one of the few anime that I enjoy.

Banning something because you don't like the material is dumb.
I don't care if it is a drawing of Hitler roasting Jews on an open fire while wearing a Santa Claus outfit. If you don't like it don't watch it.
