    Default A question about Vindictus.

Now I run Vindictus pretty well on HIGH specs, and I'm not sure if this is automatic to prevent lag, or if my specs are bad, but the game keeps changing channels for me.

Is there any way to stop this automatic change? Not only does it bug me, but it seems as if it's impossible to find a game with someone on your friends list because you'll be moved before you can even get to the dungeon boats.

    What the heck.

Pretty sure they only channel moved you when you return from a dungeon, at least I never seem to get forcefully changed to another channel whilst wandering around in town.

The channel switching doesn't affect your friendlist or your party.
In Town, all members in the party will switch from channels to channels independently, but you will be able to talk to them in the party chat window, and the party will stay as is. Once the party leader has launched a boat, every members will be port in the same channel.
So if you want to play with your connected friends, you'll have to invite them or to be invited in a party, first. (right click on the name of the friend in the friendlist, then choose "party invite", or type "/invite friendname")
If you're already playing in a mission, and wants to be helped, even if the boat was launched without your friend in the party, your friend can "assist" you. he has to right click on your name in the friendlist and choose "Assist". Then he will be port in your mission, but only during the Boss fight. He won't gain XP, though.

It's just the way the game is set up. My old computer can only play the game on low settings and I'm always changing channels. My new computer does the same thing and it plays the game on high settings. It doesn't affect the gameplay so you should be ok.
