Default Strange thing with movie subtitles.

I'm not talking about the optional subtitles you can put on. You know, the ones that go on the whole movie?

I mean the ones that come up on the screen when people speak another language. Ones that are right IN the movie...

For example, in Men In Black, I can distinctly remember the 2 aliens in the diner sitting down, and he has a jewelery box. The taller alien says "is that it?" (the galaxy) and the short one says "no, diamonds for your children" or something like that. Its right IN the movie when its on TV, DVD, etc.

However, I have a version of the movie that is just lacking these subtitles? I don't understand?

I also have a version of Machete that is missing them from the beginning of the movie.

    Whats up with that? Anyone?

Way to spoil Men In Black! Gawsh!

I don't see why your version doesn't have those subtitles. I thought they always used to use hardsubs back in the day.

Yeah, downloaded and streaming versions seem to always be have it missing for me. I tried to watch Everything is Illuminated but probably half of it is Russian and I couldn't find anything with subtitles. =|

Movie sucked anyway, but that's not really the point, haha.
