just thought I'd post here cuz I always thought more OnRPGers should play LS~ but if you didn't like it before I think there's a good chance you'll like it now. LS is a roombased pvp game if you didnt know.
well yesterday there was a huge christmas update to the game, it changed the entire UI and ingame menus/lobbies, the whole game looks totally different. everything is just much cleaner and neater, new music in the lobbies and HQ (where you can test out your heros/combos), also 3d portraits of your character in lobbies and you can hover over people to see their stats and what medals they have equipped.
they added the 29th hero also called Death Knight, it's sort of like a mix between grim reaper and berserker. it has a huge launch attack and you can slash them for high knockback in midair or come up with some other combos.
also if you're not familiar with LS heros are character classes but you can switch between them freely and they all have separate levels.
the best part of the update is the quest system which people who play LS have been waiting for for a long time, it gives you rewards for various achievments like levelling a specific class (for example i got a +20 hammer on my smile joker for levelling to 40 on it) ranking up and various random tasks like getting a certain amount of kills in one game, etc.
the quests also give medals, which you can equip on your character for bonus stats and they also have nice artwork, and you show up when people hover over your character. so they're like trophies I guess.
if youre familiar with LS there was also a LOT of hero balancing in the patch, they nerfed wild tiger's ridiculous infinite jump attack/dash speeds, nerfed medic stabs, buffed kage ninja/iron knight/grim reaper/infantryman/musketeer, justice defender can block in midair now.
but anyways there's no event for promoting the game if it sounds like that, I just wanted you guys to know that the game is really cool now ;p

i don't know. not for me, but I live in new york. it's a game mainly for north americans even though anyone can play, except south americans aren't supposed to.
there's also a auto-kick function now for severe laggers which got added yesterday
yeah there's permanent hero scrolls from quests, and also regular hero scrolls which have a chance of permanent heros.
but really using the peso to hire your hero isnt that bad, also with the new UI you can hire 10 hrs at once. and thats 10 hrs of actually being in a battle, not in lobbies or offline etc. so its not really that big of a deal. im a high rank and i hire some of my heros and it doesnt bother me at all.
