Genki isn't very good by the way, infact study books like those aren't very good in general. What it will do is serve as a way in for you to see if you can handle it and enjoy it, but it's VERY simple and just the tip of the iceberg. I'd recommend you use Anki if you haven't heard of it yet, anyone who knows anything about learning languages will use it or a similar program.

I'm assuming you don't have any experience due to the books you're buying, sorry if I'm wrong!

they are, thats the only reason i bought my pair and i love them, i wear them for 7+ hours a day. and as a bonus they keep your ears worm in winter.

Learning books will always be good or bad according to some. I've had a few people recommend it to me too.

I've tried with several PC apps, but it didn't get me far. I also prefer books instead of PC apps to learn me stuff. :/

So far I've bought myself a PS3, some games, a headset, and got 300 dollars from amazon today! (traded in one of the xboxes i won to them along with all of this extra stuff i got, lol)

but yeah, my parents said they aren't giving my gifts until tommorow, but I bought them some show tickets for Huckleberry Finn that they've wanted to see for a while, and a water filter that I've been trying to get my dad to buy for the past three years.
