The first thing that everyone's going to tell you is to save money by building your own computer, and they would be right, but I understand that not everyone has the time or patience to do that.

My advice to you is to buy the computer right before GW2 comes out, or 1-2 weeks after (if you want handle the wait). That way, you'll have a better idea of what the system requirements are and you'll be able to get a better computer for cheaper the longer you wait.

You make some strong points, but its true i don't have the patience to wait for the GW2 release lol ..

And i would pay the extra just to save me the hastle of building it from the ground up.. what i wont do is buy one of those over priced alienwares thats for sure.

Do you know the good reliable sites where i can build one, order it ..ect

DneL, if you buy xBlazex suggestion, you're shooting yourself in the foot.

    What's your budget?

do not listen to blaze, he knows nearly nothing about pc's, snow is the one you need to listen to, listening to blaze will only result in a bad computer and thrown away money.

    Thanks for the heads up.

@snow , don't really have ah budget ill spend what ever i need to spend but i was only trying to stay inbetween 600-700 ..

I dont need the baddest machiene on the Road.. just something powerful

About max settings on GW2 .. and low or medium settings on FFXIV

I really want to order it from one of those sites like powercybor pc something like that.. there were like 2 of em..

I really dont want to build something that wont be compatible with some of its components.. because usually when you order it they give you exactly what you ask for whether its going to work right or not..

How well will the AMD perform while playing Crysis, or FFXIV ?

The AMD shouldn't have any trouble running Crysis (it'd be bad if it did).

FFXIV is rather CPU hungry (my q9550 ran it about 25fps on high, 40fps top iirc) so it's safe to assume the AMD cpu will perform about thesame or a bit higher.

    Is that bad?

The lower the 'fps' the better?

I try to give him something decent that will last a bit and would be easy to upgrade should that moment ever come.

Sort of. There will be situations where the gameplay won't be smooth, but in normal scenarios it'll be smooth enough to enjoy it.

It means it was pushing my rig to the limits. I do not have tested it with all those new patches so I can't give you any numbers on that nor did I follow the patch contents, but I'm sure it'll be better.
