    Default the psychedelic music topic

because it's awesome, especially while under any sort of influence

I recommend you get everything there is by this band in all of their various incarnations.

I recommend you get High Rise II

this band is pretty good too!

I'm hoping other people chime in so I'll stop here rather than making some 50 video megapost

Aw man, I made another post last night but I guess it didn't get through.

John Frusciante has some pretty trippy stuff from his earlier albums; Niandra Lades and Usually Just a T-Shirt (1994), Smile from the Streets you Hold (1997), From the Sounds Inside (2001)

Here's a cool number from Estrus EP, off Niandra Lades and Usually Just a T-Shirt.

This one is from the album, Smile from the Streets you Hold. Love how raw it is.

    How about a perfect classic?

Mmmmm. I remember seeing them live a few summers back. They extended the solo at 3:50 for like 8 minutes. I remember it was just TOO MUCH for the people there. We all started freaking out a little bit. It was just too intense hahaha.

One of the friends I was with was like "GUYS ALL I CAN FEEL IS THE MUSIC!" at that point. Its a phrase I'll never forget, because it was so true

    And then theres this track:

IDK if that counts as more stoner metal or psychedelic rock...it doesn't really have the metal feel to it at all...I dunno. I've listened to a bunch more by that band, and none of it really has the same feel as that song. I really like that one.

I listen to SO MUCH music that its really impossible for me to even say what it is I like.

The only genres I'm not so into are country, electronic and classical. And, of those, I can name one from each genre I do like (Commander Cody and his Lost Planet Airmen, Cookie Monsta, and most Beethoven).
