Default More 3D stuff at CES

So yet again at CES this year they are pushing more 3D technology. What do you think?

    Good?

    Bad?

    I LIEK KITTIES!

Personally I think most of it is just a phase and will not be around in 10 years like the other times there has been a push for 3d technology. There are a few of the TV's that are starting to adapt with passive 3d technology so you don't need to wear the bulky powered glasses, but still its not something that I think people will be wanting to put up with in the long term. As for something like the Nintendo 3DS, it has an opportunity to bring 3D to the forefront in one area that may last in hand held, no glasses 3D gaming, but with the possibility of eye strain issues this could lead the paranoia squad causing a public relations nightmare with the system.

Edit: I meant to post this in the general section so hopefully someone can move it.

Meh, i don't really need all this 3D shit. I'm fine with normal, flat TV and games.
I absolutely hate 3D movies too, they're giving me headaches.

Look up the nintendo 3DS, no glasses needed. I'm not sure how good it is yet (can't watch a youtube video of it in 3D), but it sounds pretty spiffy. I'd have to try it before I buy-ed it though.

Yes, 3D glasses gives headache, because your eyes can't keep up with too much information at the same time, and 3D movies do damage your eyes.
