    Default need help on psu

    my motherboard is a

P5VD2 MX-SE model, and im not sure what psu is compatible with it. i tried googling but it doesn't explain psu compability, only cpus....

my current psu is a Sunpex ATX 450ps, and i thought its a 450w one, but i read from some site that its only a 250w psu.

im currently using the 250w to run a radeon hd 4670 video card, and i experienced no issues with it.

Can experienced onrpgers provide me with some insight on picking out a psu thats compatible with my motherboard???

or is all psu compatible with any motherboard?

Afaik all PSUs have a generic connector for mobos.

As for GPUs, it might be a tad different (8pin instead of 6pin) but there are transformers for those.

I should update this but all my effort went into writing this lousy excuse.

so ANY psu will be compatible with my mobo am i right?

i mean the psu i wanna upgrade must be 500w with those 6-pin or 8-pin connectors if i were to upgrade to a better graphic card.

im just afraid that after i bought a new psu, theres only gonna be 4-pin molex connectors and uncompatible with my current shtty mobo.
